When you speak of
DVD-Burning software, I am still shocked by
this New Scam. I never imagined that it can be that
huge. It seems that nowadays, with less then $500 you
can hire some Indian experts to create DVD-burning
software for you, setup a website and start selling it
to the world.
It doesn't matter that the DVD-burning software is full of bugs, you
don't have to worry about upgrades or new versions
because you don't plan to release any? All you have to
care is how to trick more people to buy it! If people
start complaining you can always setup another website
and sell it under different name.
After spending hundreds of dollars on DVD-burning
software tools and testing them on different systems and pc ,
I discovered that over 95% have huge programming
problems:
-Copies didn't work on a standard DVD player.
-Copies made had very low image and sound quality.
-They only work on Windows XP systems, despite the fact
that on their websites they were advertising as:
?Compatible with all windows versions?.
Sometimes after I tried to make a copy and I failed, I
contact them and they told me that the DVD-burning software doesn't
work on encrypted DVD's. Can you believe that? 90% of
DVDs are encrypted? Why the hell are they selling it ,if
you can copy only 10% of all DVD's?
Oh and not to mention that some companies charge
ridiculous high price for their DVD-burning software. I mean, they
have the guts to ask 100$-150$ for their "wonderful DVD-burning
software" when you can get a similar tool with the same
functions for less then $40 ?
Don't even dare to ask for a refund, most of these
fly-by-night DVD copy websites won't even respond to
your refund requests, and once their website gets shut
down due to complaints, they start another one under a
different name, rename their product and start selling
it again.
That being said, I am happy to say that there are
still legitimate companies that sell legitimate DVD-burning software.
If you want to buy DVD copying software you should do your homework.
Otherwise you will probably be ripped off or you will
end up paying way more then you should. I recommend that
you first search for yourself and compare what they
offer and stick with only reputable companies.
These companies on the left of the page are a good
start. And/or you can do a search and compare the
results. Happy DVD-burning!
